DELTAX EVALUATE — YOUR FIRST INTEGRATION Planning checklist | November 2026 https://deltaxevaluate.com/developers Start with one workflow and synthetic data. This checklist helps you plan an integration; it does not grant API access or execution authority. 1. NAME THE HANDOFF [ ] Describe the problem and the person or system that owns the next action. [ ] Choose a bounded review activity: analyze, compare, draft, or validate. [ ] Define what should happen when no eligible review step remains. 2. START WITH PREFLIGHT, IF IT FITS [ ] Put policy and evidence under the workflow owner's control. [ ] Use public Preflight locally through its CLI, MCP server, or GitHub Action. [ ] Treat missing evidence, multiple eligible options, and refusal distinctly. [ ] Keep any Evaluate API handoff explicit and separately authorized. Setup and source: https://deltaxevaluate.com/preflight 3. PREPARE THE API REQUEST [ ] Request restricted access before connecting to the hosted API. [ ] Keep credentials on your server, never in the browser or a public repo. [ ] Supply one to eight candidates with supported semantic classes. [ ] Minimize context; use synthetic inputs while exploring the contract. [ ] Remember that context and support values are caller-reported, not verified. [ ] Preserve the exact request and its idempotency key for retries. 4. HANDLE BOTH OUTCOMES [ ] Validate the response envelope and supported result type. [ ] Handle selected and governed_noop_refusal as separate outcomes. [ ] Keep external_effect and execution-authority flags false. [ ] Record the selected candidate, gate decisions, and trace references. [ ] Store the request and receipt together for later inspection. [ ] Preserve uncertain outcomes for reconciliation; do not silently bypass review. 5. KEEP EXECUTION SEPARATE [ ] A selected activity is not performed by Evaluate. [ ] Apply your application's permissions and approvals before a later action. [ ] Record later execution independently from the evaluation receipt. [ ] Test authentication errors, limits, refusal, exact retries, and timeouts. 6.
